Our practice is equipped with the latest and greatest dental technology available to us to make sure you enjoy more comfortable, streamlined, and detailed treatments and exams. CT/Cone Beam Scanner

The cone beam CT scanner is an amazing piece of technology that allows Dr. Bower and our team to examine even the most minute details of your oral and facial anatomy. After capturing a short, 30-second scan of your entire facial structure, our team will be able to view the location of your sinuses, facial nerves, and even the density of your jawbone. This is especially helpful when it comes to planning more complex procedures like dental implant placement.

Digital Impressions

Putty is no longer necessary when it comes to taking impressions. Now, all our team needs to do is wave a wand around your mouth. A small camera will then capture images that creates a 3D, photorealistic digital model of your mouth that we can immediately send off to our in-house milling machine or dental laboratory. From there, we can craft perfectly fitting same-day dental crowns, nightguards, and more.

Soft Tissue Laser

Dental lasers have revolutionized a number of treatments that we offer, like scaling and root planing. The laser itself is a small handheld device that emits a thin, concentrated beam of light from the tip of it. That light can vaporize severely damaged or infected gum tissue, kill harmful oral bacteria, and cauterize the area being operated on as well. The benefits of laser dentistry are plentiful, ranging from decreased recovery times to minimizing post-operative discomfort and bleeding.

Digital Cavity Detection

Sometimes, even a trained eye can miss signs of cavities during your routine checkups. That’s why our team employs our digital cavity detection system, which scans your X-rays to alert us of potential decay. That way, our dentists in Haverhill can assess the area in greater detail and make sure that any small symptoms are addressed before the issue has a chance to progress.

The Wand™

We administer local anesthesia to help numb the area before placing large fillings, conducting thorough deep cleanings, placing dental crowns, and doing a number of other procedures. If you’re afraid of needles, you can rest assured that you won’t have to see one during your visit, because we use The Wand™ single tooth anesthesia system. It administers a highly precise amount of local anesthesia to the area surrounding a tooth to eliminate collateral numbness and make your experience more comfortable.
